Canzani Multipurpose Room
Glenn’s presentation at 10:00 a.m. in the Canzani Multi-Purpose Room on the 2nd floor will focus on ideas related to the Creative Productivity of Teams. This presentation is open to all: students, faculty, staff and the outside community. Glenn Entis co-founded Pacific Data Images (PDI) where he co-wrote PDI’s first animation system, earning him a Scientific and Technical Achievement Award from the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences.  When PDI was acquired by, and merged into Dreamworks, Glenn became the CEO of Dreamworks Interactive, where he worked with Steven Spielberg and Jeffrey Katzenberg on a number of video games including the first title in the successful Medal of Honor series. When Dreamworks Interactive was acquired by EA, Glenn joined the gaming giant and went on to become their Chief Visual Officer and Chief Technology Officer. Glenn’s entire professional life has been spent in computer graphics and animation – as an animator and programmer, as a producer, as a video game executive, and now as a venture capitalist focusing on digital media. His roles and day-to-day responsibilities have evolved over the years, but his goals today are the same as when he started out over 30 years ago – to find the most exciting, promising and creative uses of computer graphics and digital media and to find a way to help accelerate the progress. Currently Glenn is an Honorary Professor at Emily Carr University of Art and Design, Member Board of Directors at Blue Noodle, and a Partner at Vanedge Capital.
